Establish and manage a fabrication support team for projects in the Houston Office. Promote, establish and maintain key supplier / subcontractor contacts for our regional fabrication needs. Implementation and adherence to procedures necessary for maintaining the necessary quality, best industry practice and standards of work. Oversee the development of best practice fabrication drawings to promote cost effective fabrication to industry standards. Personal familiarity with and promotion of Subsea 7's Corporate HSEQ policy and ‘house rules'. Promote innovative technical solutions. Participate and advise projects in technically challenging fabrication issues and support project's fabrication needs. Develop approved fabricators listings for the Gulf region Develop audit schedules and service agreements Understand project's needs, identifies and addresses fabrication parameters and problems, develops and implements fit for purpose solutions. Review and approves all Projects fabrication drawings and specifications. Review and approves projects fabrication Scope of Services. Assist and participate in global fabrication initiatives (Center of Excellence) Assist in specialist technical support to projects. Report manpower and engineering issues to the Regional Engineering Manager. Deliver the appropriate fabrication needs to all ongoing Projects. Manage and/or supervise project SIT activities. Manage and/or supervise project load-out activities. Assist, manage and/or supervise Subsea 7 and/or 3rd party vessel mobilizations Develop approved fabricators listing in Houston, Mobile, NOLA and Port Isabel Develop audit schedule with HSEQ Establish Service agreements with C&P. Mentor fabricators in S7 HSEQ
